Obtaining Warranty Service

Do not turn water on until heat is on, trim crew has pressure tested, & someone will be with home 1st 24 hours.  Water Leak-do not wait--turn water off immediately. Roof Leak-Notify office immediately--if someone locally can get there quicker than us, please have them check stop the leak.

New Homes:

The manufacturers of the homes Palmer Homes sell and install, warranty the homes through the manufacturer's warranty. The warranty and the Homeowner's manual will be in the kitchen drawer. Please review as each company is different now in 2023.


Cosmetic items MUST be reported in the first 30 days after move in.  You can report directly to the manufacturer but please include Palmer's in the email or send us a copy of the submitted request. Please send photos!

Please if possible submit all requests in writing with photos by email to Palmerhomes@hotmail.com or through our website service section.


Furnace Warranty

PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE EMERGENCY SERVICE ON THE ANSWERING MACHINE!


FURNACE WARRANTY:

  • Palmer's should be contacted for service requests on your furnace during our regular office hours.
  • If emergency work is needed on weekends, holidays, during the nighttime hours, you must call your fuel provider.
  • In order to reimburse you for the outside service call, we must have the following:

1) A copy of the billing from the fuel provider including a description of the work done.

2)The serial number of the furnace.

3)The model number of the furnace.

4)All defective parts replaced by the fuel provider.

Appliance Warranty Service

Your new appliances are warranted through the company who made them:

Please contact us if they do not take care of your service. If they find it was an installation error by the factory, contact us for payment to the service provider.



Skirting & Exterior Structures

Skirting is required. If you install your own skirting:

Pier set- can be uninsulated or insulated. MUST be vented properly.

Slab set: Must be insulated skirting and must be vented properly.

Other Structures:

Porches or decks built on site must be freestanding. The home is not allowed to support the weight of site built structures.
